San Diego’s Belmont Park

Belmont Park is considered one of the finest amusement parks that one can find in sunny San Diego. Belmont Park is a great place for the whole family with something different for every family member. There are many different kinds of rides, arcade games, roller coasters and other thrilling activities to choose from.

The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster is the Park’s most distinct and popular attraction. Constructed in 1925, the roller coaster has undergone several restorations over the years. This unique roller coaster is like no other and offers steep hills and quick drops as well as speed that can only be called insane. Take a ride on it if you dare!

The endless wave at San Diego’s Belmont Park is a veritable delight for wave riders. Hourly rides can he hired from the Flowrider and even beginners can take lessons here. If you are looking for something exciting other than wave, check out the pulse-racing Chaos or the raceway bumper cars. Though Chaos looks similar to a Ferris wheel, its unique three dimensional, random rolling and rocking, makes it feel like a different ride every time.

Arcade enthusiasts can head straight to the gamelords and the family fun arcade. Children as well as adults are sure to be tempted to spend hours here enjoying the ultimate, irresistible gaming experience. It’s addictive though, so prepared to spend hours here once you enter.

Other thrilling rides that one can enjoy at the park include, krazy kars and the Vertical plunge as well as the infamous ‘plunge’, which is San Diego’s largest heated indoor pool. It is great for diving, swimming and having a blast.

The trampoline and the Crazy Submarine is for those who enjoy extreme thrills and heart-stopping action. For a unique challenge try the Rock Wall. Test your limits and see if you have what it takes to climb all the way to the top.

When you’ve finally had enough of the rides you can still keep yourself occupied with the different activities that abound here. There is always something exciting going on in Belmont Park.
